WELCOME
TO THE EUROPEAN POLYGRAPH ASSOCIATION
Established in 2003, The European Polygraph Association / Europolygraph (EPA) consists of professionals who carry out computerized polygraph tests. Analog instruments are only ideal for television shows, documentaries and re-enactments which require a polygraph to be operated on camera.
The EPA is the main and older dedicated polygraph association in Europe. The EPA was formed to ensure all examiners in the UE are properly trained and qualified to complete tests to an exacting standard. The EPA is dedicated to the advancement of standardization in the polygraph industry as well as upholding the professionalism and ethics to which all polygraph examiners should strive.
The steady growth in the utilization of the polygraph by more and more private individuals, members of the business and media sector, in the Europe, has demonstrated the necessity for an organization to help promote professional standards within the industry.
This site is intended for all individuals interested in the psychophysiological detection of deception. No matter what your affiliations, we think you will find this site worth investigating.
This website is designed to provide accurate information regarding polygraph testing in general. Although the EPA does not provide a polygraph testing service itself you can use our contact page to seek further information and post questions on any issues relating to polygraph testing.
The association only accepts polygraph examiners qualified to carry out computerized polygraph tests; who have undergone a strict screening process; and who do not have a criminal record.
The application process is carried out by a special committee that sorts and screens applicants in accordance with the association's regulation requirements and high standards.
Members participate in conferences and seminars both in Europe and abroad, and receive updated information on polygraph-related studies, innovations, lectures, and more.
